Notes is collaborating with The Fitzwilliam Museum Society for Love Art After Dark 2017, an evening of art, poetry and music taking place on February 2nd from 6.30pm to 8.30pm in The Fitzwilliam Museum.
After a presence at the event in 2016, Notes is looking to expand our role in the night this year. We are looking for any kind of creative work that loosely responds to the concepts of art, love or sight (and everything in between). We are still interested in pieces which aren’t aimed precisely at this theme, however. We’re also interested in relevant spoken word performances. Should your written work be published, there will be the opportunity to read at the event on Friday 2nd February before an audience of museum visitors.
The deadline for submissions is Friday 27 January, 12pm.
SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES:
– Submit to Notes Cambridge at submissions.cam@notespublication.com.
– Max. three pieces of written work and six pieces of artwork (including photography and illustrations) per person. This includes sets/sequences of photos.
– Essays and short stories up to 2000 words.
