Editor’s Note to Issue 30 + Extracts

The final issue of Michaelmas 2015 features notes loosely based around the theme of collision. From the melancholy juxtaposition of hopeful expectation and reality in Ronan Marron’s ‘The Snow Will Not Stick’ to the familial discord evident in the extract from Charlotte Cromie’s novel, ‘Limelight’, many of the pieces in this collection revolve around the interaction of oppositional forces. We hope that this issue inspires future works and continued discussion.
