Although Notes submissions are now closed until October 2016, we still have our special footnotes publication coming in Easter term! footnotes is a micro-fiction issue, looking for flash fiction, micro poetry, aphorisms, mini-essays, ideas, etc. in 100 words or less. Artwork is welcome too! We’re extremely fortunate and grateful to have Simon Armitage, Ali Smith, Sarah Howe and Paul Muldoon as contributors to this issue, so if you would like the chance to have your work featured alongside theirs please do submit when we are open for submissions in the Easter term! More detailed information will come soon.
Our third annual, Notes Three, will also arrive in Easter term. It will consist of a digital issue compiling the best work of the 2014 – 2015 academic year. Limited physical copies will also be available.
Finally, we’re excited to announce that we’re looking for new people to join the Notes team (in Cambridge)! Two Designer positions (with applicants preferably having experience with InDesign or related programs) are available in addition to a Publicity/Events Officer role. Email info@notespublication.com with the following information if you’re interested – your name, college and year, as well as a summary of why you’re interested in the role you’re applying for. Interviews will be held in April, and we will provide role specifications to those who are interested.
